Allow me to be one of the first to welcome you to the City of Havelock. We are a city on the grow, but have managed to maintain a small town friendliness. Havelock is expected to experience unprecedented growth over the next several years and the opportunities for the business community will be great. As the population base increases, so will the demand for goods and services. Our citizens are very diverse, coming from all over the country to make their home in Havelock. This divergence means civic and social opportunities abound. You will find a genuine friendliness for all, whether you are a lifelong resident or one of our many new  Havelockeans. In Havelock, you can truly be anything you want to be. The citizens of Havelock are excited about you locating here. If you are not involved in activities of the city, get involved! Join your Chamber of Commerce, become a member of one of the many fine civic organizations, or help with our outstanding recreation program. If you will get involved, then you will soon love this community as I do.  If there should be anything that the elected officials or city staff can do to make your transition more pleasant, do not hesitate to call on us. Again, welcome to Havelock!
