On Tuesday, January 23rd, the Havelock Military Affairs Committee recognized the January 2024 Service Person of the Quarter: Lance Corporal Jesse C. Mullinax.

Lance Corporal Mullinax is currently volunteering three hours a day, four days a week as an assistant wrestling coach for the Havelock Middle School as well as assisting the Havelock High School wrestling team, with this, Lance Corporal Mullinax is inspiring young wrestlers, and shaping their minds to deal with adversity, triumph, and defeat.

Lance Corporal Mullinax is giving his time to help the future citizens of Havelock, North Carolina. Ultimately, Lance Corporal Mullinax is shaping young men and women to be successful inside and outside the classroom.

Together, MCAS Cherry Point Command, Marines from Combat Logistics Company 21, 2d Supply Battalion, 2d Marine Logostics Group, and members of our MAC enjoyed a meal from Verduzco's Wrapz Soups and Salads before honoring Lance Corporal Mullinax with gifts donated by various Havelock businesses and organizations.

It was a wonderful afternoon celebrating this Marine and his contributions to our community!
